Buying parts from Amazon...

Would mostly agree with what's been said about Amazon.
It can work out pretty well, just know your part numbers, description and appearance. And, like others have said, it practically is the new ebay with many independent vendors listing there.
I recently (Summer 2015 transmission job) used ebay with good results, so I wouldn't rule them out completely. Found mint used parts there and special Harley tools (Turtle Fountains). Check the reviews and talk with the sellers ahead of purchasing. You'll be fine.

Have had great experience with Amazon Prime,,, I called manufacturers (AIM & Cycle Electric) before hand to check on Part #s and Warranty concerns,,, Both Manufacturers told me that there would be full Warranty, no problem.
I shopped others (ebay, J&P, etc...) and Amazon Prime has been by far the least expensive with quickest (free) shipping.
