Default Fork Lock Stuck

I have a 2010 Ultra Classic never used the fork lock so thought I should try it, so installed the key and put the switch in the lock position and turned the bars all the way to the left. It locked and I can not unlock it at all. is the a place to put a jumper to over ride the pock pin? Can the ignition switch faulty and if so can it be removed with the forks in the lock position.

Try just pulling the bars a bit as you turn the key back. Should do it. Sounds like a bit of pressure preventing you from turning the key.

Ya thanks for the reply but I have tried that several times with no results at all. If anyone has any other ideas it would be appreciated.

Mine got stuck the opposite way and wouldn't engage. Sprayed some silicone spray on it and all is good

After a long time I figured it out. The ignition switch housing was cracked and would not release the pin for the lock. I removed the ignition and replaced it with a new one. This is a big job with the steering locked in the full left position. Thanks all for the replies.

Well done, that lock can be a swine! Use it a bit more often, so it doesn't dry out and fool you again.
