Badlander seat for 06 Dyna

Has anyone put a Badlander seat on an 06 Dyna and found that the grab strap was to short. I just put one on my Street Bob and I have tried everything to make it fit. I even went to a different dealer than the one I bought it from and checked the grab strap in an unopened box, (mine was open when I bought it, thought they may have swaped the strap from another seat) and they were the same length. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.[sm=dontgetit.gif]
