Default Can I make these highway pegs work?

I have some highway pegs I took of my old bike and when I got my "new" bike I got them all cleaned up and ready to install but the brackets are too big to hook to the highway bars. They are just a touch too big around. I have no idea what brand the pegs are or how old they are but I sure would rather use them than have to spend a bunch more money. Is there some simple solution?
Thanks

fold up some tinfoil, wrap it around bar and tighten really tight.... then trim off anything showing with a razor blade

The pegs look like Kuryakyn's. New clamps should be available.

Did you have that washer in between the Clamp "Ears" when it was installed? ... Take it out

Alternately... have in Thin Rubber?

.

New P clamps or use strips of aluminum from a beer/soda can

Yes, place a thin piece of rubber around the bar where you want to mount the clamp and put the clamp over the rubber - this will help fill the gap between the smaller diameter tube & the larger clamp
