Default looking for some feedback

as in my signature line:
2016 RoadKing
bought new nov 2015, now has 73k miles
I'm at a crossroads here, she runs like a top and I love her.
I really like the M8 and twisted cherry, while not as nice is still good, ABS would be nice but not a necessity, and I hate the idea of giving up my spokes and wide whitewalls
a new bike would need a lot of extras to make her mine, but do-able
with the miles I ride, I am looking at close to 90k by deep winter and the dealer said he can work if I don't break the 75k mark, not sure that makes sense to me.
so here is my quandary, like I said, she runs like a top...(now),
do I keep her, what's it going to cost in the next 30k miles?
or
do I move to a 2018?

I would keep riding what you have and do an engine rebuild/upgrade during the winter. At least do a cost comparision to the purchase of a new bike and adding the customizations you want vs. a rebuild of the motor you have.

Kinda looking like I'm headed that way..just talked to my local indie..he says I should be good for another 100k, he did suggest cam tensioners... I mentioned a cam upgrade, he suggested s&s mr103.. that and tensioners about 1100... I will likely go this route, but I will keep my appointment

I suspect your dealer told you that max mileage so he can sell it on with a warranty, hence get a good price for it. If it exceeds that mileage the price he can sell it on for is reduced.

which makes no sense to me, because if I understand correctly, he can only offer a warranty to 75 k, so since I will hit 73k today, he can only give a 2000 mile warranty... am I right on this?

What I meant is that if your bike has less than 75k miles when he offers it for sale, he will be able to offer a warranty. There may also be an age limit as well. I've come across such things with secondhand cars, so am guessing about bikes and why your dealer said what he did. Of course you can always ask him! He probably also fancies having your bike asap, so he can sell it on before winter!
