Seems like they had a very good tuner working for them years ago but he moved. Does anybody have any info on RECENT dyno tuning they have done?
Thanks
B.H.
I hear that guy opened his own shop called Fox Cycles that's not too far from Roeders. https://www.foxcycleworks.com/ I'm probably taking my bike to one of the two eventually...gotta run a canned tune for a bit to recover from spending on the cams an stuff. I'm assuming you're in the area? There was a place called M&M on 250 in Sandusky that has a new name now...I have a friend that had his 08 street glide with a 107 kit in it retuned there an said it was a great tune. https://www.mozaicracing.com/?gclid=...xoCnAMQAvD_BwE

Fox was the service manager for Roeder Harley in Sandusky until the closed in 2009 when he and his Nephew opened Fox Cycles. I used to tune for Roeder Racing until I moved to Virginia about 5 years ago and open up a shop here. Roeders has 2 VERY good tuners (Scott AKA "Super" and Jake). I'm not sure who does the tuning at Fox. Last I heard Dan retired and Dane was running the show.
Thurs I'm taking my friend to pick up his bike from Roeder's after having the updated cam plate an oil pump installed with S.E. 204 cams an a tune. I'll let ya know how it runs.
if anyone is interested here's my friend's dyno sheet from his bike. picked it up today....it's an 05 deluxe with the efi 88 c.i. motor. He had screamin eagle 204 cams installed....I think the V&H slip on's might be holding it back a tad since they are just basic straight pipes. He's very happy with the results:
Took my 09 EGC to them last spring. I had a Target Tune module installed and they knew up front I had it. Upgrades I performed were cams, head and intake porting by Hillside with larger valves. Big bore 107 kit. They struggled with tuning the bike. Had it for nearly 2 weeks and they said they had it pretty good and to come get it. Picked it up. (2 hours away) They called later and said they finally got in contact with dynojet and realized the tune had to be target tune enabled to work properly. Offered to retune the bike for free. Brought it back and they did their thing and had the tune TT enabled by dynojet. Bike ran well, but had major detonation. When rolling on the throttle in 5th and 6th gear. I ended up going into the quick tune menu and backing off the timing globally 2 degrees and eliminated the knock but noticed drop in power. I wasn't going to haul it back up there. They were really good to work with but I wasn't impressed with the tuning skills for how long they had my bike. I wouldn't make the trip up there again. If I lived closer I may have given them another shot. That's my experience with them. MD

Did you go to Roeder or one of the other two places mentioned in this thread?
