883 sprockets
Hi. I have a 92 883 sportster hugger. im replacing the chain due to it being old and worn and i was informed that the sprockets should be changed at the same time to prevent the chain from premature wear. My local shop told me the front sprocket is a 21 tooth and the rear is a 48, i havent counted to verify, however i trusted their books and knowledge and ordered a 22 for the front and a 48 for the back. i wanted to cruise lower rpm at highway speeds after my ride to and from fuel cleveland from long island. my question is, how will the extra tooth affect my daily around town riding and also how much will it affect highway cruising. thanks. Jake
