When I took my 2016 street glide special in for the 10K mile service...they like to wash the bikes afterwards. Well, my cruise control quit working on the way home. Hmmmm, a great mystery! I went back the next day and asked the mechanic (Harley Davidson) what could have caused that? He said nothing that he would have done. Don't even touch anything near that. Ok....I rode home with the cruise constantly cutting off at every bump in the road. I got to thinking the next day, that I have witnessed the flunkies, in the back, pressure washing the machines. Uh-oh....that is bad on electronics. I rode around a couple of days and yesterday, it started working great again. It worked today flawlessly. I called uip the service guy (good friend) and told him what I believe happend with the pressure washer. I went through enough heat cycles to dry that component out and it started working again. He said that was probably it. He had rode the bike, when I brought it back, and it was cutting off on him too. So he was thinking what could it be...lol Glad that mystery was worked out and all is well. Moral: Do not use a pressure washer around electronics. They won't wash my bike again, I forbid it.
I finally got this fixed after taking it in several times. Also had some Kuryakn iso grips put on. Cost e about $100. it did fix all my problems with the cruise not working and the N light flash off and on.

Hi pressure washers and K&N air filters have ruined more bikes....
I've always put the hose on a open fan type spray, just to rinse. No water jets shooting into anything. I'm just glad it is fixed. I want to take some longer rides and the cruise control is the ticket, on an interstate type of highway.
