Hey hey how are we all .
i have fitted a ss t 143 to my 2011 dyna FXDF fatbob and im wish to gather any and as much info that people have on manual tuning the tmax to this engine . I have spoken to tmax support about no t 143 map avaliable tho was given map n# 747 was the best they have and was to take it to a tmax agent to be tuned manualy ... i have run the tmax in 3 of my bikes for over 7 years and have be happy with the product.. i have no doubt at all that the tmax will run the 143 .. but would like to set up the tune myself with all the time coin i have spent .. it be like gettin ya girlfriend all neat and tidy and lookin hot for ya mate to **** it ..
just any info . the must do thats and ****in dont do meathead and the wtf are you ons

Your engine is not very common, so you may need to look around for answers. We also have an 'Engine' specific section of this Tech forum, as well as a dedicated 'Ignition' section, so visit them to see if there are any relevant threads.

My S&S 107" is carb and I bought it with the carb and dedicated IST ignition system, as a package, which gave me an extra year's warranty (which I didn't need!). I haven't checked the 143" (although I did investigate their 145" some years ago - but that is another story!), but is a dedicated system available for it from S&S? Thinking about that, if you have a dyno shop convenient it is likely they will only have experience with one suitable product, which may not be S&S or Tmax. I had mine supplied and tuned by the UK S&S importer when I bought it, in 2008.

hey man, I just bought a 143 n putting her in. How have u made out with ur engine n what do I need to b aware of? I got her on chain drive, Baker Tran, airshifter n nitrous this was all on her before so just going bigger, I also got thunder max ignition n a lock up clutch. I got my engine of a guy use to work for S&S so he's getting all my stuff. MIKE YURKO. He lives in Canada where I am, he's on utube also look him up, he sets speed records on the salt flats. Any feed back is APPRECIATED CHEERS TIM✌

Hey man , took some time to get it sorted out, but we actually got it ready yesterday to fire n the starter wouldn't turn her over enough to fire so waiting for one today. I havint got that far yet, so that's next but I can give u a contact if ya want some answers. The guy I got my motor off of was Mike Yurko ,he used to work for S&S n he also races these motors. GOOD LUCK
