I will do that.
The crankcase and primary are also going to be stripped down too.
Have you any idea about number stamped on crankcase please.
Hope you all ok over there with this vivid.

Hi Robert, from somewhere else in the UK. Where are you located? Evo people are a bit thin on the ground over here, with most Harley dealers and specialists having little experience of them and having only been born in the twincam era.

The number stamped on the cases on the left side just above the primary is your engine vin code and should match the numbers on your frame.

Well, not exactly...engine is 10 digits, VIN is 17.

98, do you know how to interpret the engine serial number?
