im sure all know to do a pre ride check but some may not. i always at least do a visual for leaks and check if anything is not right. check tire pressure every time it sits overnite i rode the other day checked both tire pressures and all was good rode for about 25 miles not long then went to go back out 2hrs later and while putting on my helmet noticed front tire looked funny checked tire pressure and it was less then 2 psi i said crap i got a puncture and no spare tube. I have the factory 21" front. so i filled tire up and it was just the valve core came loose luckly. tire side wall is pretty stiff so wasnt flat and sitting on rim could have turned out bad
good thing dealer is big and open so i got a new spare tube and rim tape. factory HD Dunlop tube was 29$ and rim tape was 7$ just to have on hand so im not ever waiting on one if needed
I admit, that bitch didn’t check my air pressure regularly in the past. Especially silly since it was such a pita to get to the rear on my limited. Now with my FOBO TPMS, I check them at the start of each ride, and they are monitored during the ride.
Now I’m waiting for the T-stems to make it easy to top off the air pressure.
Also, with the HD digital oil level gauge, it’s easy to check the oil level.
