Quick Disconnect Template

Is anyone aware if there is a template for the backrest bracket. I don't want to risk destroying my backrest to trace it out. I'm trying to fabricate a carrier for my golf clubs.

I'm thinking sidecar. On days when you don't have a tee time, you can put the family dog in to go for a ride with you.

I'm not aware of a template, but this may give you some ideas on fabrication.
