Default Motorcycle Jack Recommendation

I'm looking to buy a motorcycle jack. Most of the ones I have looked at online are either complete crap, will only lift the front or rear, or have a relatively narrow lifting surface. Anyone have a recommendation for a jack to lift a 1000lb touring bike? I don't need a pro level jack, but I will be doing all of my own work to include tires, drivetrain, etc. so I want something dependable and that I can leave the bike on for extended periods of time. Thanks!

I have been using a J&S jack for 6 years without any issues. Use both on my Dyna and Road Glide.

I used a craftsman jack for many years for maintenance and storage on my touring bike. I recently got a J&S Jack and I love it. Sooo much more stable than the craftsman.

OK, that said, for the upteenth time, J&S, pricey but worth every penny, and you only have to buy it once.

If you are doing all your own work, tires etc, you do need a pro level jack. Stay away from the cheap Chinese junk.
