No offense, but I can think of a half dozen different ways to hold the wheel straight for picture taking purposes. None of them involve a kickstand block, and none would show up in a photo. As long as your kickstand keeps your bike stable when parked you're good, don't fixate on other owner's photos, too many variables involved.
