Default Gaskets...

So I'm replacing pretty much all my outer covers and intern need to replace gaskets. I see there are a few different brands. Which ones are better?

James and Cometic are what I use.

Cheers!

What bike/year? I replaced them on my slim an reused the gaskets. The rubber ones are reusable if in good shape. The rocker covers are such a pain to get off I did replace those so I wouldn't have to mess with it again.

They are for a 2016 Street glide. I’ve seen both James and Cometic but didn’t know if one was better then the other.

One thing Harley does really well is gaskets. I’ve had leaks with both James and Cometics.

This is one thing the moco does well. Except head gaskets. Those I use cometic mls gaskets.
The James gaskets with the double bead of silicone is a gasket I'll never use again.

Lately, the HD gaskets I've bought from the local dealer are made by James. Not sure if this is across the board, but the outer primary, cam cover, and top end kit I recently picked up were all James.

Cheers!

Wow, I’m surprised to hear so many for Harley. I came to this thread because I was looking for opinions on the best gasket for my Harley twin cam transmission. I was at the dealership, ordered everything I needed but the gaskets. I guess I’ll go with HD. Thanks fellas!
