Buying used bike!
So I had a quick question, I’m planning on buying a 2012 Dyna SuperGlide from a private seller. The bike is in great condition with only 888 miles!! But the problem is, I doubt he has changed the oil since he hardly rides. Is this a big issue?
Every now and then he runs it up and down his neighborhood and around town but doesn’t have time for the bike. Should I be worried about this?

Check the oil for signs of moisture, milky off color, crud on the top of the dip stick, feel around the inside top of the crankcase with your finger for condensation sludge. If all is clear trailer it home then change all the fluids checking again for signs of contamination. Have the tires replaced before riding, flush the brake fluid. Verify pad movement and retraction on the brake pads. Have the wheel bearing checked during tire install. Drain and refill the tank with fresh gas. Start easy and slow on the bike until you are confident there are no hidden gremlins.
