I used a Motorcycle Garmin for years. Very expensive. For the same price I use a Samsung Galaxy Phone with Google maps. Easier to see and a better gps. Even tho they say they are water proof, I take it off before it rains.

I wouldn't ride for long in rain with a phone as my GPS. The Zumo, on the other hand, has been through multi-day downpours for hundreds of miles, without a problem.
The Zumo XT screen is as bright, and clear, as that on your phone. It's also an Android device now.
if you dont plan on riding in bad weather you can use a car Garmin they are much cheaper. if you hit rain just pop it off and put in in your saddlebag.
