Been working to late last few days, might not have a chance to look at it till Friday or early Saturday. Sux too...80 degrees today, would have been a nice ride to work. I'll keep you updated.

I gather you had to de-pin the molex plugs for the right and left controls. Double check that the pins you had to reinsert protrude the same as the rest. I know some of mine had to be tweaked when reassembling the plugs. Also did you have to solder your extensions or did they come with the coordinated male and female pin connections? You could also try touching* base with KST . I know they didn’t wire the bars but they may be able to provide some insight.

I have not had a chance to look at it again, tomorrow or Saturday morning it looks like. What throws me off is everything worked fine, put on the outer fairing, tightened the switch housings which were already tightened most of the way...then nothing. But I will certainly take your suggestions and give them a try. Will keep you posted.

Maybe but it did run and all switches worked. I personally like the quality of KST bars, made in America and are Stainless steel.

his comment wasn’t worth the price of a reply....unless the wires were pulled through bare I doubt that’d be the issue.

It's gotta be in the switch housing(s) somewhere...I'd bank on it..or...something grounded out after installing fairing??

Well, I'd tell you my friend that was helping me told me all fuses were in perfect shape. Started out today from the beginning, tested the battery..
all good.....pulled out fuse one, good, fuse two good, fuse three...burned. It's the battery fuse, replaced it..problem solved.
But due to the embarrassment factor, ill tell you it was a short in the wires in the bars
