Mine fits how it should. I get no draft up inside it but it feels like it is jerking my head off this starts around the 50 mph mark. it doesn't matter if its a windy day or still same thing.
I lived/rode in WI (freedom of choice) for 9 years. Now I'm in VA (freedom of nothing) and had to get a helmet. Got a $29.99 DOT 1/2 helmet from JP and went for 1 ride. Retired it and bought a $14.99 novilty. The DOT was ok in town. You hit the highway and it feels like a parachute strapped toyour neck. The noviltyhas beenfine - until the boys in blue have their input...
I ride with a group and I'm the only one with a novilty hemet. Probably the only one that tried a $29.99 DOT helmet also. Everyone else spent $100 plus on theirs. Probably has something to do with it. Can you compare a Hyundai to a BMW???
One last coment... The wind 'roar' is considerably louder than a 3/4, full, or no helmet. The straps alter the wind noise right in front of your ears...
Ihave 2 helmets a 1/2 and a full face, the half is ok when it is hot and crusing at speeds 60 and under, the full face helmet is great in cold weather and highway crusing 70-80 mph.At high speeds the 1/2 blows my head around too much and the winds noise from the side straps is deafining even with ear plugs.

Yes, what 's up with the State of VA anyway!! They've gone off the deep end! When are you guy's going to vote the libs out?
Despite living in a "Freedom of choice State" I wear a full face most of the time. It's feels comfortable for me.
I wear a cheapo, but DOT approved Daytona half lid for in town and riding with the windshield. Fits perfectly and there is little or no buffeting since I took the useless little visor off. Also have an HD half with the ear flaps for cold weather and a full face Fulmer Modus that I've come to hate for riding far and fast without the windshield. After today in the cross winds, the windshield is going back on the the Fulmer will find a nice home on a shelf in the garage.
Would also note that there was a post about earplugs here earlier this year - started wearing them after reading it and it makes life roaring down the highway much more pleasant, especially if you're behind somebody with straight pipes.
I have nothing against people who choose to wear a helmet. I wear a full faced when I know I will encounter rain. A cheapo without a windshield in the rain is torture. But after riding for almost 9 years (16-18 is a helmet state) without one, it sucks tohave to wear one.
I'm sure the entire nation has heard about our $3,000 speeding tickets and such. Most of it is fairly severe stuff though. Wreckless, DUI, ect... But improper signal goes for $900. Talk about using the directionals AND hand signals... I'm starting to do the same in my cage... I think improper tread also goes for the $900 mark. If you couldn't afford new tread before...
i have 2 half helmets one is fullier than the other.the fullier one i wear back and fourth to work because of the crazys and the other it is more thiner when i travel.and a full face when it gets cold. but i dont have that much trouble with them bounceing around . i have a low profile windshield .that might help.they all are d.o.t. helmets.cuzz around here if you get the man to stop ya the helmet is the last thing. he will hassle you about.
NYC - short trips, my beloved ACC DOT lid, long tips and colder weather, stick with my Full face Shoei rf1000.Don't do any riding in manhattan, yellow cages(cabs) think dirving is playingbumber cars. Still looking for a way to hide my mossberg 500 for easy accessfor the yellows.Maybe a deer slug in the yellow cage's tireswill slow'em down.......
