No abs, why is my abs light on

Default No abs, why is my abs light on
I don't have abs on my bike 2008 RK. Why would the light come on after 10 seconds after I start it?

Does it go out when you start moving? If not, place a small piece of black tape over it.

I've seen some on here disable their ABS, sure that wasn't done on yours ? Hey, you should pop into the new members welcome area and introduce yourself.

More information. Details on bike . How long you owned ect. has anyone messed with setting in the ecm-BCM . Tune flashing the bike ?

I think it needs the Digital Technician to disable the ABS light on non-ABS motorcycles. Not sure what all could cause it to to come on. How long have you had the RK? Have you messed with the Speedometer, etc?

I would check the connector where the abs unit would go to make sure no dirt or water got into it.
The second thing I would do is unplug and plug back in the speedo assembly to ensure there is a solid connection there.

If that doesn't fix it more digging is required.
