Default Night lights

I got tired of not being able to see inside my cubby holes without having to carry a flashlight so I mounted small COB led’s in my cubby holes (Road Glide) and using small reed switches (magnetic) that are activated when the door is opened and turn off when the door is closed. I mounted small magnets on the hinges that when they are close to the switches, activating them, turning on the lights. I wired them directly to battery power so the ignition doesn’t have to be on.

LED lights for cubby holes, magnet activated.

LED lights for cubby holes, using reed switches and magnets.

Nice idea. The factory should use that as an example.

The lights were a good idea. How you did it was good ole American ingenuity at it's finest.
