So, unfortunately I live in a Blue state and everything has been shut down since the beginning of all this crap. No gym, eating habits have gone the hell and limited activity options have led to a drastic amount of weight gain.
so that has left me with two feasible options (1) loss the weight (2) get a bigger motorcycle.
what would you chose?

Is moving to a location where people are more in line with your philosophy an option? That's what I did 12 years ago and the "pandemic" is just more reinforcement that I made the right decision.
The bike is a good way to reward yourself for now.
You’ve got a great area to rude. We lived in Tualatin for 7 years. There’s a lot I miss about the area. But, the rain not withstanding, the things I didn’t like got worse. But, now the area we moved to is becoming bluer & bluer. But at lease we have good weather.
Trust me, if moving was an option I would be all over it. But I’ve got a 4 year old grandson that is my best friend and shadow. I can’t imagine anything that would get me to leave him behind.

Of course they love to visit in the summer and fall.
That's one thing great we still have in this country. We can pack up and move to another state or city and no one can stop us.

You should feel lucky that you don't live in California, and it has nothing to do with Covid-19. It has to do with all the smog regulations which are driving businesses out of the state. It is way worse than Covid could ever be.
