Default side stand

hope all you gals and boys are enjoying yourselves keep safe keep well.
need to remove side stand from 2008 dyna super glide, simple, workshop manual says remove cotter pin and remove the whole unit, thing is how ever much i pull push jiggle force or finesse the bugger wont shift, have bike against wall so carnt really see whats holding the dam thing in place any help much appreciated

Perhaps some WD-40 or the like will loosen it up. Here’s a shot of the jiffy stand

cheers bud, have same drawing the whole assembly is loose when i remove pin and can move it about a bit but bloody thing wont drop out.

bloody bastard thing, anyone interested the reason for the stand not dropping was that it had a steel lug for the side stand down sensor fitted, bit of a chew to remove and install , welded 6mm to top of lug shimmed out slack in anchor plate to stand , nice and smooth and the bike sits up great.
