fuel tank trim

Default fuel tank trim
i have a 2018 fat boy and am trying to remove the trim piece from the gas tank any suggestions would be helpful i tried to remove the 4 torx bolts but that did not work

I believe there is a bolt or two under the seat that needs to be unbolted to remove the console. So I'd remove the seat and check for fasteners at the back of the tank for the console.

there is a single bolt under the front of the seat but the trim piece has 2 bolts attaching it to the spedo console they appear to have bolts with slip nuts that i can not reach without the console lifting up that is my problem do you know how to get the console off? i tried the one bolt on the console itself but it would not lift
