Road Glide Front Suspension Upgrade
I just finished installing Ohlins cartridges in the forks of my 2017 RGS and wanted to mention something for anyone contemplating the same thing. The fork caps on the Ohlins cartridges are significantly taller than the flat HD OEM fork caps and as a result you should/must modify the plastic shroud that goes over the top of the fork tubes, otherwise you can't get the fork tubes far enough up into the triple clamps. The plastic pieces are easily removed and the modification is pretty straight forward. The other advantage is that you will then have access to the adjustments at the top should you want to experiment with making adjustment to rebound, compression and preload.
