two weeks after the warranty expired on my very $$$$$ Kahuna Heated grips they stopped working (of course) lots of posts about these things failing......does anyone know if there is an inline fuse for the grips on a 2019 Softail? Wanted to start at that source first before checking the entire wiring. Dealer advises there are no replacement parts and that only other option would be to replace them at $$$ for new grips and $$$ for labor.
I live in the frozen north so sort of anxious to get these things re-working....maybe should have stuck with my 30 year old heated plug in gloves
Many of the parts are available. Go H-D.com, search on heated grips, find yours, go to details. There you'll find the installation instructions and individual part numbers
Yes it should be feed by a fused circuit most likely through the H-D auxiliary power cable. The instructions will provide the power source/fuse information and connection locations that you can check for tightness and power.
