That is the second cheapest Harley part that I have ever seen.
The only one I have seen cheaper is the rubber stopper on the jiffy stand.
Mine fell off somewhere and I picked one up for $1.08 including tax a few years back.

91844-97 is the cigarette lighter socket cover. $1.03 at the dealer. $13 on ebay!

When I went to pick up my keys I asked about the plastic covers. I was told that they do not sell them. That was at the parts counter.
When I seen one on ebay I took a look at it, the guy wanted 17 bucks. My mind said you can keep it for that price.

Mine came with the plasics, couple years ago. Do your keys have the key number on them? Wondering if the dealer just had a local smith cut them vs ordering from the mothership.

The vin lookup doesn’t always work. I needed keys for a 1997 Electra glide and their system spit out the wrong key-code. I had the original paperwork from when the bike was sold new that had the correct code on it, they didn’t want to sell me the key with the code from my paperwork . Took some convincing but i got the key i wanted . Works in the ignition and the other luggage locks.

Hey Thanks for the part number. Called Bumpus Harley in Murfreesboro TN and they ran the part number. It worked. They didn't have any in stock but the guy in the parts department check a few other stores and told me that the other stores had some in stock. Which was cool.
Still have to order some. Give them the card number and pay enough for mailing it to me. Where I live I am about an hour to an hour and a half away from a Harley shop. Whether it be Bumpus in Murfreesboro, or White Lightening in Chattanooga. I hate riding into the city. And I hate riding the interstate. Rather take back roads, state highways, and US highways.
