Default Vibration Question...

This is the second time this has happened and I thought maybe I'd bounce it off you guys.

This morning, while riding into work I noticed at 28 mph and again at 32 and 38 mph I get this deep vibrating sound. No vibration with it, it reminds me of the sound of a small plane engine, like a Cessna 172 or something. The noise stops at 30, 35 and 40.

The other thing I noticed is about half way to the office, this noise just stopped. I didn't hear it the rest of the way into the office.

The only thing I can think is that I'm not letting the bike warm up enough???? Both times I've heard this the air temp was in the upper 40s/low 50s and I was running late and didn't give the bike much opportunity to warm up. BTW this is a 2007 883 Custom Sportster.

Any thoughts?
Thanks.
