Looking to get a new tank console with popup gas cap. AdvanBlack has one that is color matched. Does anybody have one of these? Curious how it fits and how it looks on the bike being that it is only plastic. For $259
want to make sure that its a substantial piece. Ive looked at some of the off brand ones and most get bad reviews on Amazon. AdvanBlack has been around a while now so hope its better. They all look similar though.
Tank console
Should have looked at this one its aluminum
Well got it on today. Quite happy with it. The paint matches perfect. The console is pretty substantial considering its plastic. The only thing I had to do besides bolt it on was elongate the hole in the bottom mounting bracket a little more than they had it. This got the console tighter to the tank. I don't really have any issues with the cap but I also haven't taken it out for a ride yet. Here are some pics. Before and after.
