Of course around here declination angle is only about 3 degrees so not as big a deal.
Its 3 degrees in Michigan and Wisconsin. It is more out west. But for most people it doesn't matter. Boating on big lakes I hear it does.

I use the compass in my truck a bit. If I keep going _____ I'll his the road I want.

I don't need a compass when I travel. I just look to see on what side of the tree the moss is growing. Now if I could just remember if it grows on north or south side.

It grows on whatever side is shaded,or all. Another of those things we learned in our youth, like 9 planets.

Replacing defectice thermoature in fairing with compass would be cool. But I never made the effort to pull apart dash,or spend money.
Now I know why multiple members give you a hard time about the spelling in your posts, WTF is a "defectice thermoature"?

For years the Ultras came with a defective analog thermometer. Some people would take them out and out in a compass.

Its a big FU from harley. Every year they kept putting in the same defective thing. Some people said if you moved the probe it would work better.
