I would wear earplugs and leave the hearing aids at home.

I wear earplugs when riding, not my hearing aids. Seems counterproductive to wear hearing aids while riding.

Ditto my audiologist. Remove them or turn them off. Trying to get used to earplugs. Don’t like the muffled sensation but so much more comfortable on the highway with wind fatigue. Have to find the perfect earplugs also let me continue to enjoy the tunes….

I have a pretty serious hearing deficit and rely heavily on my aids.
They are "high end" with good stuff like noise and wind filter Bluetooth etc..
I don't wear them when I ride with out a helmet for fear of loosing them.
It is a PITA putting them in and then taking them out at every stop as well as changing from my riding glasses to my prescription glasses.
I will be purchasing a full face modular helmet very soon.
At that point I hope to be able to wear my Rx glasses and aids under my helmet.
Even then, I will turn the hearing aids off while riding.

Most of the time I wear my full face helmet while wearing my hearing aids, not much of an issue for me. Rather have them in versus taking them out all the time and losing them somewhere. The noise level of my bike isn't too loud where it becomes a problem .

I wear mine when I ride. They are noise canceling and bluetooth so I listen to tunes all day.
