Default What is this??

The below is on my '96 RK behind the carburetor and runs to the back, but don't have the faintest idea of what it is for. My best guess is for air ride but WTH do I know

Overflow line from the fuel tank? (though it originally maybe wasn't routed that way.)

It's not connected to any thing and runs to the back and I cannot seem to see where it should connect. Any advice would be appreciated.

The pic is from behind the carburetor and runs to the back of the bike on the left side. I'm wondering if it is left over from the original carb as it has a Mikuni in it now.

Considering it's California, my guess is it used to go from the fuel tank to the charcoal or fuel vapor canister.

After searching the ole interwebs it seems like you may be correct. This line seems to be very purpose built as it has set curves to go around the motor and rides along the frame to the back. Will have to see if the canister is located in a different spot on a road king 🤞 The only other thing is that if left there it's up against the motor and although high heat tubing would like to see it gone.
