Default handlebar switches

I wonder if it is possible to reverse the horn and dimmer switches on the new bikes so it would be like my 92 flhtc. thanks for any help in this. My next one is going to be a 08 SG. Other Friends have a problem hitting the horn when going for the dimmer.

The switches are mounted in a steel holder that screws into the switch housing. I know you can remove the switches from the mounting by bending a tab over. If the two switches have the same dimentions, you should be able to switch them. You would have to cut and resolder the wires or disassemble the connector to get the wires through the hole in the mounting plate. I'll take a look at mine this evening and let you know.I have that switch housing apart now to repair the horn switch.

I checked my switches last night and it does look like the dimmer and horn switches could be swapped in position. The mounting plate the sit in looks like either position could accomodate either switch.
