2023 Road Glide Special 114
Recently installed a woods 22xe cam, adjustable push rods, lifters and cuffs. Has rinehart dbx45 slip ons and stock header with cat removed. Dyno jet vision tuner with a map from fuel moto, Arlen ness inverted air cleaner.
I ride mostly 2 up and rarely on highways. My concern is with the 22xe cam...a part of me thinks I should have went with the 22xd because I like to play with upper rpms, >3k. But I have others telling.me that I ride 2 up a lot the early torque with the 22xe is best. What's your opinions? Did I select the right cam ?
I wouild agree the 22xe is the good choice. I have a 107 and just installed the cam, oil pump, lifters, cuffs and adjustable pushrods. I mostly ride single but also ride 2 up. I have looked at cam profiles and dyno curves for over 6 months.
I think the 22xe is best.
I have the RS468 in my 128, and it is similar to your grind, and after 4 years, I want to ride more north of 3000. Do not get me wrong, this thing has been a beast, and I love it. I just want to use more of the range, and shift things to the right a bit.

I have a CR512 ready to install.
The fact that you have a 128 to start with is way more than the op has. And the CR512 needs more than just a drop in .... needs new springs. Not exactly an easy task. Certainly some can. Or a shop can.
Fuel Moto has dozens of cam dyno runs for comparison. But only you can decide if you like how the bike performs. You could change cams and then end up not liking it.
I put a Redshift 468 in my Stage 2 because the dyno charts all showed peak torque at lower rpms which is where I ride. I am very happy with it.
You might think about adding 5.5 injectors and see how they affect your bike's performance.

Um...thanks? I am sorry, did I say something wrong? I was not pushing my cam choice on him, but saying that I understood.
I am well aware what parts I needed, and I do have them all. Never once said it was a drop in cam choice.
