Crankcase vent
Has anyone come up with an idea to vent the crankcase vent into the atmosphere instead of using the air cleaner? I want to clean up that area without the hose.

Just install the Trask Check M8 and forget about fooling with the head breathers. The Trask vents the big piston thumps to atmosphere such that the heads don't need to vent anything.
After installing the Trask, my oil-misted throttle plate stayed clean, and still is almost 5,000 miles later.
Supposedly MoCo has finally gotten around to properly venting their odd-firing thumper motor with high end M8 models now.

ever since epa put it there.
the BIG issue is the way hd does it, they need to take a lesson from rice
i have NO issue venting to the cleaner, just routing it to a high flow area like it supposed to be.
