Question Wire routing tips

Hey, this is my first "big" job on Harley, or any other motorcycle. I have an android auto display and I'm trying to route the cable from front of my '22 Low Rider ST to the battery under the gas tank. Could this be considered a good spot for the cable? (The one with the red ending)

Also, for some reason, I unscrewed what seems to be some kind of valve cap on fuel line quick connector. It made hissing sound, I screwed it back in. Is it something I need to be worried about?

From the triple tree follow the top of the frame. Drop it down near the battery. CAUTION!!!!!! Use ZIP TIES to secure wire to the frame to keep it out of harm's way.

Any wire added to any vehicle should be sheathed and secured with cable ties to prevent short circuits from rub thru. Ensure that the added wire(s) are not rubbing against anything that moves or can be pinched by other components.
