Have used a few of their products and planning to continue to do so.
I was a bit surprised to hear about this sale, but there's been a lot of that going on nowadays. https://www.dragzine.com/news/racing...rews-products/
Quote: "Racing & Performance Holdings, a group of leading manufacturers of high-performance automotive aftermarket parts, announces the acquisition of Andrews Products. This addition expands R&P’s family of brands and marks its entry into the motorcycle market."
Hope they don't "streamline" the company's product line in the name of profitability and "progress".
According to the article, the real new owner is TPE, most likely a private equity operation. I found a TPE Boulder on the web. Private Equity and Vulture Capital. So, another one bites the dust. Cost cutting and extracting whatever they can is the usual MO. Offshoring and decreased QC are the likely results.
Racing and Performance is just a shell company for TPE. I did notice most of the R&P holdings are here in SoCal. Not being publicly held, finding out about the management team is tough, so who knows.
