I rebuilt the front master cylinder because the brake light wouldn't go out. Since doing this, I have no pressure. I bled at the banjo bolt, and reverse bled. Still no pressure.
Thinking that maybe it was something wrong with the rebuild kit, i tried another rebuild kit. Same result, no pressure.
Is this a sign that the master cylinder needs to be replaced? What is the problem?
The bike in question is a 2007 Dyna Super Glide Custom. It's a single disc. New pads, braided brake like and flushed about 6 months ago.
Bleeding at the banjo will introduce air into the system. Use a Mighty Vac at the bleeder fitting, 1/2 fill master cylinder. Pull the fluid through the caliper, close bleeder refill cylinder and repeat till no air bubbles come out.
