Default Sissy bar mount help

04 roadking
got a 100th ann sissy bar for my bike and I have a tour pack mount setup. But I thought the front of the sissy bar mount would rest on the shocks but it's too short. It does fit right on my tour pack mounts but then it looks like its sutting too far back....help, What do I need to do here? Ty! Pics attached

Harley used to have a front mounting kit that was used for the sissy bar. There was a thin mount that went on the bolt by the shock and another that attached to the black rear mount that is where the twist lock goes on.

You need the sissy bar mount kit which will move the sissy bar forward.
