EFI or Oil hose clamps preferred type
I read the solid band crawler clamps and the solid band w/ screw and nut can be used in both applications, but which is preferred and why ? The solid band crawler seems like it cannot vibrate or unscrew itself ( way too stiff screw against the band) where the screw and nut looks like it could unscrew itself from vibration unless lock tight is applied. What you oh wise ones say ?
For oil and EFI lines, the solid band "constant tension" clamps are the preferred choice. They are specifically designed to resist vibration and will not loosen on their own.
The screw-and-nut type can work, but you are correct—they are more prone to vibrating loose over time, even with thread locker. The constant tension clamp is the more reliable, set-and-forget option.

On my bike ear clamps are used on the oil lines at the oil tank. I assume it's because the tank is plastic and they can only be crimped so much with the correct tool where a different clamp may well be over tightened breaking it.
This is what I was looking to use for oil hose clamps. Ideal Tridon Lined Worm Clamps, won't dig into the rubber hose.
