RE: Which magazines do you subscribe to (motorcycle)?
I sub to Iron Works and reluctantly to American Iron. Pick up The Horse Backstreet Choppers when something in it interests me. American Iron puts in just enough tech, antique bikes, and an occasional old school type bike to keep me hangin' on. Too many of the bikes are clone-y billet barges.
RE: Which magazines do you subscribe to (motorcycle)?
Subscribe to America Iron and American Rider. Prefer American Rider for it has more of a riding focus, while America Iron has page after page of customs. Christ? Cool.
RE: Which magazines do you subscribe to (motorcycle)?
I read Iron Horse, when i can find it. Guess Ill hafta subscribe. I used to get Street Choppers but never again! # months straight with no engines but evos, twin cams, and aftermarkets. How can ya have a chopper mag without a shovel and pan head in EVERY issue!!!
I like Easyriders too. Think Ill resubscribe to them.
RE: Which magazines do you subscribe to (motorcycle)?
I dont subscribe to any, but I also like American Iron and Iron Works. I used to like The Horse (when it was called Iron Horse) back in the early 90s when they used to be about minimalist choppers and bobbers. I find The Horse and the other bike rags that have only choppers to be of no use to me. I dont really care for choppers and the attitude and style of writing is annoying.

I subbed to The Horse until last year. Too many times reading the thing made me cringe at the writing style. Too much attitude, as in, "we're bad and you ain't." Plus the over $40/year sub price is way steep. But I thumb through every issue now and get one when a tech article or particular bike strikes me.
Subbed to Easyriders from about issue #5 'til 1983. Bikes started changing from the simple classic street bobbers and chops and I dropped it. Also got tired of the nekkit wimmen getting in the way of the bikes. I gots me own woman and didn't need pics of plastic.

The horse (backstreet choppers) is (in my opinion) the best rag out there. They are not that brand sensitive, and they just say what's on their f^ckin minds.
