Wonderingif anyone rides wearing Wiley X goggles as eye protection. I just purchased a set of Wiley X CQC goggles and I really hope they keep the wind out....my eyes water too much with every set of riding glasses I have ever tried. Can anyone give me thier opinion on these goggles? I wont be able to form my own opinion for a couple more months. Thank you very much.
I havewind sensitive dry eyes ... they seem to dry out very easy. I purchased a set ofWiley-X glasses w/ the transitional lens and they were life savers for my eyes -- made my rides much more enjoyable; so if the glasses were able to work for me I'd assume that your goggles would work well for you.
Another happy WileyX customer. Just bought a pair of the light adjusting with removeable padded eye cup. Had a pair of Panoptx and like the WileyX's far more. Much better in keeping the wind out.
I had the same problem with my Streetglide, I could not keep the wind out of my eyes. Short windshield seems to direct the wind right at my eye level. The best cure I found was a taller windshield, Now wind is not a problem.
I was issued a set of SG-1's just before heading to Iraq back in 05. Been wearing them when riding ever since. I bought replacement lenses on Ebay for a song. Elastic went out on the strap. I spent 73 cents at the local fabric store and sewed a new one on in 5 minutes. If the frames ever give out I will buy a new pair. I really like these.
I have a pair I bought just before i whent on tour to Afghanistain and i wear them when i ride now and they are great for riding never had a problem with them.
I picked up a pair of the yellow lens's for them and they are great you and use them in sunny cloudy and even at nite they are great don't have to change glass's or lens's just wear the yellow one
