I have a helmet for my son. It's a hand-me-down from my oldest son. It is a youth full face helmet andsays "CIRUS" (which I think is an HJC). I searched for a tinted faceshield with no luck. The faceshield is clear pastic and Iwould rather it betinted. Isthere anyway toapply tint toa clear, plastic faceshield?Thank you.
Check your auto parts stores. They sell a spray tint made by VHT.
Some members on this forum have used it to tint their tail light and blinker lenses so it should work on the shield. http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/VH...71_p_3465.html
The dry film is very hard to use sometimes . The key is to buy that little spray bottle they also sell . It sprays out a nice mist to keep the film just right as you squeegee the air bubbles out evenly . But I prefer the VHT mentioned before . I usually shake well before I use it too . I like to start at the top , working my arm from side to side . Remember to stay above the runs . Work them down with the spray nozzle . Once you reach the bottom , let the excess drip off . Then let dry . Hope that helps ya out bro ...............Kev
