capt, in jp cycle cataloge, page 1005, there is a listing for a locking latch system that fits stock and aftermarket leather bags. price range from $139 to $197 depending on model. no manufacturer listed. i thought i saw some on ebay also. if you click on the link for saddle bags on this forum they also have bags that lock.
Those look like a good solution. But I have a Dyna so the bags I get might be too small for the bars you attach inside the lid. Unless, I'm misunderstanding how they work...
Check out Boss Bags (www.bossbags.com). \\; My wife has a FLSTN and put their locking bags on. \\; They look good, are easily removed (but not when locked), and not expensive.
\\;My bags came from Leather Works Inc. Stocton, Ca. Had them increase size of there standard bag and added locks. http://www.leatherworksinc.com/
I had the stock locking hard bags on my deluxe, changed to larger leather bags I just put some luggage locks through the strap hole and the d ring. Works good for me. The locks that the hard bags have only keep the honest thieves out, if they want in they will get in no matter how its locked.
Sorry for the off topic. I'm posting this on behalf of my father. Can anyone help me about choosing the best<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->maroon tote bags. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
