Default Realistic Flames...

Well I began stripping my Night Train down last night so I can ship my tins out to California to Lotten Boyz Customz for one of their realistic flames paint jobs. I will post my new pics as soon as I get them back and the bike back together... Attached are some photos of their work, I think they look fantastic!! I wasn't going to send out the oil tank and was going to leave it the Night Train textured black, but would like you guys input on this!!
Thanks,

I think including the oil tank would be overkill in the flame dept. JMHO

The new age "Real Flames" are gourgous. I seen a show on Discovery about a fellow that originated them years ago. He's a 1 man show and does some fantastic work!
For the life of me, I can't reacll his name.

Those are sweet looking flames, I'd let the oil tank hide. You may want to have it the same base color black as the rest of the tins.

I agree- not the oil tank; they are without a doubt the best flames I have ever seen - outrageous!! This is their web site if anyone was wondering: www.trueflames.com
Man, those flames look good - I've never seen flames like these before, and from their web site, it looks like they will flame anything, right down to your mailbox!

Thanks for all of the input!!! I agree that doing the oil tank would be too much. The website is either www.realisticflames.com or www.trueflames.com. The guy who 'started' doing these types of flames a couple of years ago is Mike Lavallee and Lotten Boyz Customz head painter, Eric Lotten is the source for these paint jobs. Below is a bit from their site:

'Today flames appear on almost anything that can be painted. There is an entire industry devoted to flamed clothing, flamed accessories, flamed gifts, almost anything you can imagine has been set on fire. Even the descriptions of flamed paint are a language all their own. There are Trad (traditional) Flames, Tribal Flames, Seaweed Flames, Interlocking and Overlapping Flames, the Ohio Look, and the double-take authenticity of realistic flames.

Even though flamed paint jobs have been around for 60 years, never before has there been a technique with such realism and fury as the realistic flames painting technique. Realistic flames have most certainly given a new twist on an old passion of automotive customizing. Much of which has manifested in the growing number of television programs about cars and how to modify them. The ever-growing market of realistic flame enthusiasts can't seem to get enough of the realistic flamed paint jobs.

Lotten Boyz Customz head painter Eric Lotten is the son of a firefighter. His brother is a firefighter and several of his close friends are firefighters. One could say he is certainly no stranger to fire and the anatomy of flames. Combine this knowledge of fire with several years in the autobody repair and paint industry and you have the makings for another realistic flames contender. Inspired by the realistic flames of Mike Lavallee, Lotten Boyz Customz has become a source for realistic flamed accessories and realistic custom flame jobs for the "working man." The goal of Lotten Boyz Customz is to bring the excitement of realistic flames into your own reality.'

A new bike? Sorry, couldn't resist.

I like the paint job a lot...did you check with the sponsors to the right? I think they are offering discounts to members...just a thought

In any event, what you are getting really is gorgeous...I'm curious as to what it is going to set you back as well...
