I have a 2006 Electra Glide Classic and the display on the stock radio is so dim you can't see it at all at night and you have to really strain[:@] to see it during the day . Is there a fix for this or is this something I'm going to have to replace .(Everthing works just fine other than the display.) Thanks for any help you can come up with.
did you get anywere with this problem?
I have a 06 electraglide as well, the display contrast is fine but now the back light has gone. God knows where!
Any ideas how to replace it?
No ideas on backlighting but be aware that in the last 3 months my radio
screen and 2 friends' screens have failed...all 06s... only one guy with extended warranty...so basically the rest of us are fuc_ed. Radios and CBs
work fine...you just can't see 'em .We all occasionally do hose 'em down
so I wonder if water does seep between windshield and fairing. Who knows.
