help with a offer

I am looking at a 1963 Harley XLCH sportster in good shape. It runs excellent and was some what restored. What should I be looking at to offer? Thanks

Im thinking if left nearly stock this scoot should cost you around five to seven grand
(depending on condition)any drastic mods may bring down the value a lot.

Yeah, the price range is crazy. I saw one as low as $3K, the owner said it was in good shape. I'd say it really depends on the condition, the mods and what it's worth to you...

I think that 5 to 7 grand is high. In my opinion ironheads range in value from $2500 to $4500 normaly. I wouldn't pay more than $5000 for ANY ironhead unless it was something special like an XLCR or something. I have 2 ironheads and love them, but for $4500 you can get an EVO and a much better bike.
