I didn't ride my FLSTN much last year and think it time to let her go. I did the NADA thing and its very arbitrary. If its in excellent condition it books for 12,800. If its in very good condition its like 8,800. That quite a spread. I can't find one that is real close and its pretty close to stock. I know hard to believe with a Harley. Low miles, 8,500, tin is perfect, newish tires, no mechanical issues, forever garaged. Is this Excellent or just very good ? Greatly appreciate any imput.
Deal like that is all about how patient you are willing to be. There is someone out there looking for that exact model who is willing to pay a premium for top condition. The trick is finding him.

My first Harley back in 95! It holds sentimental value for me. I sold it and it was my biggest mistake..... Seems in excellent condition! Keep that beauty unless you're truly desperate for money! Mileage????

Or just price it to sell and move on.
LOL, that was me when I bought it. It a beautiful machine, but I agree. The upside is that i'm in no hurry.
Another Question. I wanted to post a classified here, but I seem to be locked out. I don't post a lot, but I seem to have enough posts to post a classified. Any suggestions ?

more than likely it will be worth more to you than anybody else. 5-6k is right about what you will get, and that will take a while. the market is flooded with all kinds onf newer bikes, with similar miles. good luck, and happy motoring riding it
You'll probably never get (in money) what the bike means to you in (sentimental value) so until you know what that $ amount is, wash and wax the bike occasionally and just sit and look at it once in a while.
I (we) have four bikes and sooner or later at least one will have to go (when I get my new Tri-Glide) but I do know that my '98 Heritage Springer (Anniversary model) EVO/card and it will not be leaving until after I do!!!
EVO's may not be all that fast, but with a little TLC, they will run a long time and to some folks, they're worth more that T/C88's or T/C96's.
