iron heads

Default iron heads

ok i hear that the iron heads are prone for detonation. true or false?
if so i hear u can run 2 spark plugs. wouldnt running a different ignition like a multiple spark msd take care of this.

Never had a problem with mine as long as I kept the timing set. You can have the heads set up for dual plugs, but find someone that has done it a bunch so they'll know how to set your timing. It'll be further advanced than normal.

You could probably adapt a fancy programmable ignition system, but I think it'd be a lot of work for little advantage.
