Default Aftermarket Seats?

How many of you switched out your stock seat for an aftermarket seat? Which one did you finally decide on? Thanks.

you know HB, I'm talkin' oldies.... but I went from a Classic King/Queen seat to a pillow double bucket to the original in the time it took to change them.

Good question. I've been looking at seats for my Heritage. It's really hard to decide, when you can only see them in catalogs or on the internet. I've looked at Corbin and Mustang so far. I've been to a few rallies, but haven't seen the exact ones I'm looking for installed on a bike.

Hi
I switched my stock Deuce seat for one of those seats with the gell pads built in and hated it. I now have a corbin and really like it. Riding 3 - 4 hr streches are not a problem.
The only negative is that the seat pan is narrower in the front and I get more heat off the engine at stops. Hope this helps.
On the other hand, were looking at buying a electra glide next spring and doing a cross country trip. I've seen an optional seat from Harley called the "Road Zeppelin" that has adjustable air chambers built in and wanted to know if any of you have had any experience with it.

SEATS... what a dilema!

I've looked at seats till I'm blue in the face, and haven't be able to narrow it down to a single seat yet.

Have not done the change yet, but hate the factory seat on my FLH. Too hard, too short, and literally a pain in the ***. I also need suggestions.

I've had terrific luck with Mustang. They are more dense than other seats and don't seem to sag after a few hours. Plus, they are designed to give your lower back some support so you can move back in the seat and feel a hard stop to push against. They are the best for my money and I just ordered on for my new Road King.

Thanks for the vote of confidance with the Mustang seat.

I'm looking for comfort without the bulk... you know what I mean?

The pillow double bucket was comfortable, but was way to big for a Sportster.
